Lakeland Caribou Preview

Mike Malloy caused quite the ruckus when he left Sloth Nation after winning EBHL MVP in 2018. He left to form the Lakeland Caribou, named after his favorite animal and lunch meat. Malloy signed players mainly from the Garden State Warriors franchise and has formed a roster that can compete with anyone.

The top end talent on the Caribou is simply elite. Jon Ruiz, the alternate captain for the 2017 USA men’s national team and Mike Malloy will lead an offense with an incredible amount of depth. Ty Sheehan is extremely attractive and an EBHL veteran who will provide a scoring touch on the wing. Doug Sanders and Jack Gallen are talented players who will have major contributions to the Caribou’s dynamic offense.

There was once a rumor that defenseman Mike Williams ran over Frank Gore at an NFL training camp. When asked about this, Williams laughed and said it was not true at all. But the thing is... people genuinely believed this. This speaks volumes. Williams is literally a human caribou and will lead the Caribou defense along with superstar Dan Redner and Garden State Indians defenseman Tanner Ruppert, Jojo Mellilo, Trevor Altmann, and Luke Malloy. Tim Papagno will be in net for the Caribou and will be one of the best goalies in the league.

Reigning MVP Mike Malloy will lead a Caribou team that has A-level talent in every single position. This team will be physical, strong, and fast while competing at the highest level. The Caribou are a team that no one will enjoy playing against. The Caribou kick off the season on Sunday 4/28 against Malloys former team, the GT Sloths, at 7pm. It will be a battle that you do not want to miss.
