South Jersey Majestic Preview

Majestic after winning a Springfield league championship in 2017

The Majestic are new to the EBHL, but they have been competing in the mens ball hockey scene at the Mens C level since 2016. Majestic is know for its rainbow jerseys and shorts with a tail coming out of the buttocks, but they will sport a new look for the EBHL. No matter what Majestic looks like, they will have the same unicorn passion in all of the players hearts. Ryan Rautanen is leading a team with talent and skill that can run with anybody.

The offense for Majestic will be lead by Scott Veneziale. Scotty V is one of the fastest and most skilled players in South Jersey ball hockey. He is an EBHL veteran and the all time leader in goals/game at 2.64 per game. John Kennedy and Ryan Kelly will be exciting offensive pieces to help guide the Majestic offense. The most exciting offensive piece will be Kevin “the shot” Altmann, who’s biceps recently measured at 25 inches around. Kevin stated that his goal is to reach 40 inches in circumference by seasons end, which would be a new world record.

Majestic boasts a strong defensive core. Matt Grivnovics and Jimmy Dingler will be the top defenseman on the team. Both are fantastic all around defenseman with all 10 fingers. Fingers are mentioned because Nate Castagna is also on defense and he only has 9.5 fingers due to a work place incident. The half of a finger loss makes Nate lighter and more aerodynamic, adding to his value as a defensive defenseman.

Andy Grivnovics will backstop for Majestic. A veteran in the ball hockey scene, he is known as one of the best goalies in the area and can singlehandedly carry a team to victory in any game. With a stud goalie and a roster full of depth and skill, Majestic will be a true competitor this EBHL season.
