TJ Janus (Goats) and Drew Weatherby (Hawks) at a neutral zone face-off

On Sunday night the Marlton Dust Bunnies were put to rest by the South Jersey Best Friends in an 8-1 bloodbath. Best Friends' forward Zach Sawyer recorded 6 goals and dominated the Marlton Dust Bunnies this past Sunday. The Dust Bunnies scored their lone goal in the first period by Justin Smith.


To kick-off our Monday night match-ups the Marlton Goats took on the Bellmawr Hawks at 7:30pm. The Goats started the game off on the powerplay due to a jersey violation by John Oswald of the Hawks. The Goats cashed in when Brian Stickney deflected a Justin Graham shot from the slot past Hawks goaltender Matt Marotta. Alec Myers would end up cleaning the trash up in front of the Goats net-minder Dylan Poris to tie the game. John Jasinski of the Marlton Goats ended up getting the game winning goal off a point shot, that was deflected into the net by a Hawk defenseman. The Goats grabbed their first win and are now 1-1 while the Hawks fall to 1-2.


The Lakeland Caribou and New Jersey Force battled in out in Evesham late Sunday night. The Caribou had a decisive win over the Force that was lead by Mike Malloy with two assists. The Caribou improve to 2-1 on the season and the NJ Force fall to 1-2.
